Specially design chain pliers for removing bicycle chains that use a master link, pliers squeeze the master link together so that it opens allowing for the chain to be split and removed for maintenance, cleaning or replacement. Ideal for use on 6-12 speed bicycle chains. Master link doesn't require a traditional chain tool, however over time, dirt and corrosion can make it very difficult to separate it by hand. Chain pliers for master link with clamp screw (ASTA A-MK398) sold separately.
