Series 5517 jobber drills are designed for cast steels, grey cast iron, chilled cast iron, austenitic manganese steels, bronzes, light metals and non-ferrous metals. Also for economic machining of abrasive materials (AlSi-alloys), fibre-reinforced plastics and other duroplastics that cause severe abrasion on cutting lips and lands.
