These Faithfull Woodcarving chisels have wooden handles, deep seated tangs, brass ferrules and fully polished blades. Please Note Woodcarving chisels will require final sharpening prior to their first use. The FAIWCARV11 Woodcarving chisel has the following specifications Type Curved Carving Gouge. Blade Width 12.7 mm (1/2in). Handle Hardwood. Curved gouges are used in place of a straight gouge to reach deeper recesses of the wood and are ideal for hollowing out and for concave carving such as the inside of bowls.
