Hawks are most often used by plasterers and decorators, along with a finishing trowel to apply a smooth finish of plaster to a wall. It is used to temporarily hold a viscous material (such as plaster and filler) so that the user can apply that material to a surface using a different tool. The R.S.T. Aluminium Hawk has a grooved blade and a plastic handle. Size: 12in/300mm Square.
