Connect this powerful 18V planer to a dust extractor to help maintain a clean and safe working environment Weighing only 2.5kg, the Makita KP0800 Planer is extremely lightweight yet heavy-duty, offering precise depth knob adjustment with click stops of 0.1mm on an easy to read scale. A foot on the base plate keeps the blade and planer base free from damage when placed on the workpiece and the front base has a chamfering groove for easy alignment with the workpiece. This model is capable of a maximum planing depth of 2.5mm and width of 82mm. You can expect enhanced chip ejection thanks to its improved fan design which generates more exhaust flow and it can also be connected to a Makita vacuum cleaner or dust bag (not supplied) for maximum dust collection. The non-slip rubberised handle and knob give added grip and control and also minimise hand fatigue and vibration. Sold in a cardboard box.
