Using a pipe cutter rather than a hacksaw while installing new pipe work avoids swarf entering the system, which may cause problems or damage when system is used.
Copper Pipe Cutters
Rigid construction suitable for use in confined spaces. Large feed screw with fluted handle for accurate adjustment of cutter depth. The cutter is manufactured from hardened and tempered steel. Type 265B and 266E are supplied with spare cutter in the fluted handle.
