This product is an Adapter Kit to convert the Planet drill press hold down to be mounted in blind holes, such as in a thick workbench.
First, drill a 3/4" hole where you need the hold down mounted. Then, put the non-threaded piece, followed by the threaded piece, on the shaft. Finally, slide the shaft and adapters in the whole and turn the shaft clockwise to tighten.
