The sharpener produces a finely polished, razor-sharp edge when used in conjunction with the supplied honing compound.

Edges will not overheat or lose their sharpness due to the water-cooled, slow speed of the sharpener.

Using the support arm, angle guide and square edge jig, it is easy to shape and sharpen a blade precisely to the angle required.

Whilst the grindstone can easily and quickly be re-dressed with the provided stone grader.
