CA5000 Makita Groove Cutter has been developed for cutting grooves in aluminum materials it cuts a v-shaped groove for bending aluminum panels. If you remove and replace the blade with a 165mm saw blade then it can also be used as a plunge cut circular saw. The Groove Cutter features a soft start, variable speed control dial with a constant speed control, an electronic current limiter for overload protection, double insulation and it xcan be connected to a dust extractor.
