High performance fluteless taps made from premium grade high speed cobalt steel. Chip-free threading operation produces a stronger thread than with cutting taps. Thread profile generates less torque, resulting in longer tool life and a smoother finished thread. Extremely versatile - capable of threading both through and blind holes in a wide range of engineering materials. Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating for reduced friction and longer tool life.
