This Faithfull Woodworking Vice is manufactured from close grain grey cast iron with a steel mainscrew for a long and trouble-free working life. The accurately machined housing coupled with solid steel guide rods assure a smooth sliding true parallel action for the jaw, free from side or cross deflection.A quick-release lever allows the user to open the vice jaws to the required width without the need to wind the main screw handle, allowing much faster adjustment.This vice has a toe-in feature so that when fully closed the jaws only meet at the top to provide even clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece. Wooden jaws may also be fitted to protect the workpiece and the vice. The adjustable front stop or dog gives an additional clamping facility when used in conjunction with a bench stop.
