These Maun End Cutting Nippers are suitable for repetitive cutting of hard wire. The high leverage design cuts the wire with minimal effort. The induction hardened cutting edges to HRC 64 offer durability and a long-life service, they give an unrivalled cutting performance and easily cuts wires close to objects. They have precision ground sharp cutting jaw edges which will cut through a range of hard materials including & ndash springs, nails, rivets and bolts. These cutters are built to last with a robust construction and rust proof finish. The compound lever action multiplies hand force by 14 for less cutting effort. The handles are zinc plated with detailing for added grip, and have a long-lasting return spring. The applications include - repetitive & lsquotop cutting&rsquo of springs in mattress and bed production, and wire spring making. The nippers also are useful for cutting hard wire in various metal-fabrication operations (such as annealed tie wire used on reinforced rods or braided reinforced concrete mesh). They are suitable for skilled tradespeople with demanding standards and serious DIY-ers, made in England. Conforms to BS 3087-71996, ISO 57471995. Comes with a standard 12 months' warranty.
