SKD-S2 is a non-aqueous, bright white solvent based developer that creates full opaque coverage on high contrasted penetrant tests. Residue from Water-based penetrants can remove residue with a water spray Use solvent cleaner to wipe area on solvent-based penetrants Cracks will appear on visible penetrants as red lines and porosity as spots. If a pink film or general reddish colour appears this means the penetrant was not entirely removed. On With fluorescent penetrants indications will show under uv light as fluoresce bright green or yellow. A generalised green film indicates the penetrant was not removed completely The developer particles will settle out of suspension if left to stand To ensure uniformed application SKD-S2 mix must be continually agitated and shaken
