These Slim Chucks are a high-precision collet chuck solution engineered to deliver superior accuracy, rigidity, and gripping strength. Designed for a wide range of machining applications, the Slim Chuck features a robust three-part construction comprising the main body/shank, a TiN-coated bearing nut, and a precision-ground collet -- all centred around an 8 taper system. This geometry offers significantly enhanced performance when compared to standard ER systems, which typically use a 16 taper and provide less than half the gripping capability and accuracy.
The slim chuck is available in a wide range of shank sizes, lengths, and taper standards making it a versatile solution for nearly all machine tool configurations. Additionally, it can be used in conjunction with multi-lock milling chucks via a straight shank variant, further expanding its application range for high-rigidity and modular setups.
